Waterfall islands, overhangs, and custom kitchen island countertops in Sacramento.
Granite and quartz are the most popular — both durable and beautiful. Quartzite offers a natural marble look with better durability. Porcelain slab is an emerging option with very low maintenance.
Yes. Waterfall islands are one of our most-requested projects. We fabricate the top and two matching side panels for a seamless mitered look.
Standard is 3cm (about 1.25 inches). For a more substantial look, we can add a laminated edge to create the appearance of a thicker slab.
Absolutely. Many clients choose a contrasting material for the island — for example, marble on the island and quartz on the perimeter. We help coordinate the look.
Measure to installation is typically 5–7 business days for standard projects. We schedule around your kitchen remodel timeline.
Yes, if the overhang extends more than about 10–12 inches without a wall behind it, we add steel corbels or plywood bracing underneath before the slab goes on, so the edge can handle everyday leaning and seating without stress cracks.
Yes. We coordinate cutouts for pop-up outlets, cooktops, prep sinks, and cable chases with your electrician or plumber before fabrication, so the openings land exactly where your rough-in is.
Most standard islands come from a single slab with no seam. Very large islands (over roughly 9–10 feet) may need one seam, which we place along a natural line — for example, next to the sink or cooktop — so it stays as unnoticeable as possible.
